GodDamnNevermind

This is gonna sound like a stupid question, but if acne treatments work by deceasing the activity of the sebaceous glands, would it not be possible to remove or destroy the sebaceous glands (at least in problem areas since the whole face might cause problems) with lasers or some other method? I know this would mean you would have a very dry face and you would age quicker, but if only done in problem areas, or people with very severe acne the pros might outweigh the cons.
