 Accutane + Hypertrophic Scars
Hi, I have a question, any help appreciated. I wonna go on accutane, but I have a tendancy to develop hypertophic scarring (raised scars) not keloids (which are much worse and don't stop getting bigger unless treated and which alot of people confuse with just plain raised scars) anyway I've read that accutane impairs healing, and I've also read the people have developed raised or keloid scars (even when they were not prone to them) while on accutane. So anyone with experience of raised scars and accutane (especially if you developed them before going on accutane) you're input would be much appreciated. Thankyou in advanced.
PS. Let me summarise that in case i confused you: If you have hypertrophic scars did you develop more or did they get worse during accutane? Thanks again.
