Question Chin Acne

Hey,
This is a question for my fellow females. I am nineteen and have always had a problem with acne on my chin and around my mouth but have had a very clear face otherwise. I have tried accutane and it worked for a while. Right now im on Ortho Evra. who has had success clearing up chin acne without oral medication??

Acne around the chin/mouth/jaw area is most likely hormonal. It is very difficult (if not impossible!) to cure hormonal acne only with topical treatments. For me, the only thing that has worked for this kind of acne is oral contraceptives.

Yasmin cleared me in 4 months, but caused me to gain weight so I switched to OTC-Lo. I'm still clear on OTC-LO.

You might want to look into one of these low-estrogen BCPs, but remember that BCPs do not work the same for everyone.

I've read that the higher estrogen is what can help acne. I specifically seen that taking demulen 1/50 could help acne (being the highest estrogen in a birth control pill.

Of course, I don't know for sure, just what I've read.

Dude, estrogen is a female hormone..males have it, but when they have too much, its not good. U can get boobs if u take estrogen pills I doubt estrogen is ur acne culprit....TESTOSTERONE maybe....but dude..............not yoinking for 2 weeks is overboard...youll prolly break out worse because you're stressed out cuz of no masterbation
