I hear azelex (azelaic acid) works really well to fade red spots...

where can i find that in?

and btw i have only brown spots to get rid of and few blemishes. I was recommended to use 10% glycolic acid lotion to get rid of blemished skin.. i dont know if its workin.. then i had this Retin cream that was suppose to exfloiate ur skin and get rid of brown spots..

i dont want to ruin my face by using all that.

what y'all think?

Finacea faded my brown spots and F A S T ! Love love love this stuff. I never would have been prescribed this if I hadn't heard about it on here..my dear pals!

Alright I just got some azelex today, and I'm wondering how I should use it combined with differin. I know I'm supposed to take differin once at night, and I'm thinking that I should first apply the differin, and then apply the azelex...or perhaps only "spot" treat with azelex.

You can get it through your doctor; that's how I got it atleast. You can also buy it online without a prescription.

btw - finacea is the same thing as azelex (or finevin). the only difference is the percent of the azelaic acid, and the solution form.

Hi Guys,

I looked up this azelex and the financea stuff in a search and it says its for acne. How does it work to reduce red/brown marks? Also, I'm filipino and noticed it said something about monitoring darker skinned patients. Is this stuff like hydroquinoine?

Hi gang! I missed you all, but not my bad face..thank you for the welcome back...just cheking in on all of you. Hope you are well micheguns!

Ok...Finacea is a prescription and I obtained it from my derm,after I asked her about it..it is 15 % strength azelaic acid. It is primarily used for rosacea..I don't have it, but heck it worked for me! Also the Plexion wash is for that condtion as well,and I love that as well, or perhaps the combination. How would have known??

For red bean..Finacea is not a hyroquinoine(sp), and I have read about dark skinned folks having to beware of it's lightening effects. I have olive skin...I have not experienced anything but positive effects from using it.

Also please note**** This medication is NOT to spot treat, but rather be applied all over the face to experience favorable effects.

its ok. well i was gonna ask u since i dont have a derm if you had any plexion cleanser of if you could get from your derm and i could just buy it off u haha. or am i just being stupid hehe
