Post visine eyedrops gets rid of redness from an inflamed zit?!

Hey everyone, I was searching around on home remidies that get rid of redness, and I came across this site that has some good decent information on how to get rid of zits and redness. And at the bottom of it, it's exact words were "To rid redness from an inflamed zit, use visine eyedrops and apply to the red spots. Another way to get rid of redness: try hydrocortisone cream or pop two Advil." Has anyone ever tried this?, if so did it work..what happened?, I'm gonna try it and see for myself. I would give you the site but I heard you can't do that on this board, if anyone cares I can tell you how I found it.

I have been using the visine trick for a few years. It helps a little, but sometimes it can make it worse. depends on the type of zit. If I have a zit that I've messed with and put visine on, it takes away the redness, but I have olive skin, so when I put visine on, it also makes the surrounding skin look more pale. so it kind of brings equal attention to the zit. that goes away within 15 minutes. so, give it a try. It definitely takes redness away, especially when the zit is an "angry" red. LOL
