Question I can't find the B5 vitamin is B6 the same

I just found out about the b5 vitamin today, and I can't find it anywhere, it is like 30.00 to order online and that looks like the only place I can find it. I did find a b complex vitamin, and b6 vitamins, is this basically the same as b5 or way different, because I am unexperienced with this stuff, and want to use the correct stuff. If any one knows, please post thanks. My only pharmacy or vitamin carriers here, are a small grocery store, walmart, and a few independant ones, any suggestions?

ABSOLUTELY NOT THE SAME!!! Just because it's a B vitamin, it's NOT the same thing. Infact, most vitamins aren't water-soluable, which means in high doses, they are toxic... VERY toxic. B5 however is safe.

B5 is also known as Pantothenic Acid... so you may have an easier time finding it. Do not get the powder version, unless you have something to cap them... because they taste absolutely awful.

Thumbs up

I have found a product called acne-rid that I may be trying soon.
You can just do a net search for it or you can buy it for the same price on the Bay.
It has two parts.
Has anyone else tryed this item? And how does it compare
to just using B5 only?

You can find lot of good and quite less expensive brands of B5 on the net. If you are in Canada or states, then shipment cost is only like $5. Try twinlab, vitacure. Dont go for capsules which are less then 300mg each cause then you would have to take lot of them in a day(take atleast 8 to 10 grames for starting). I havnt tried B5 myself(I am currently experimenting if zinc might help, B5 is my last resort lol.)

I found that the less expensive brands of B5 didn't do anything for me. I've since found out that there is a major diffrence. Apearently if the stuff gets too hot when it's being made, it ruins the pantothenic acid.
And give B5 Time to work. How many years have you been fighing acne? 2? 5? 15? Don't expect some product to Cure you overnight. If your going to use B5, wait 2 months before you stop.
Start off at something above 3 grams damnit. If you start at 3 grams, you won't see any results for 6 months. Honestly. Stay with it, and you will be happy. I am so glad I didn't give up.
