Question Should I change...

I've been with the same dermatologist since the beginning of my acne (6 years). I've been on a lot of different medications including Accutane a few times. Anyways, since I STILL have acne, I was wondering, should I change dermatologists? This dermatologist was highly recommended to me. Not only does he practice, but he also teaches to med students. So, he obviously knows his stuff. Is the dermatologist to blame if the medications don't work?
So, what do you all think? Should I change dermatologists or not?

Your dermatologist isn't to blame if your medications don't work. Some medications won't for for people while they work for others. That's the evil part of acne, it varies in people. Some things will work for people while some things won't. I would recommend that you get a second opinion from another dermatologist though and then decide which route you'd like to go. That's what I did and I eventually swictched dermatologists and am happy with my current one.
