Post Spiro users help?

Have any of you gotten a prescription for spiro eventhough your hormonal levels have been found to be alright. I have extreme fluctuation which causes bad mood swings, but in general my levels are fine.

I dont think that i will be able to get my derm to prescribe it, since he cant seem to get past antibiotics or accutane. Gee whiz what a help!!

Anyhow, I was thinking about ordering it online from europe, probably shouldnt, but I am sick of doctor's never listening to what I am trying to tell them. No this new topical that you got from your pharm rep isnt going to cure me. It really pisses me off.

Only problem is that I have low blood pressure and it says one of the uses is for high blood pressure. So what do you think? I dont want to order it on the downlow if it is going to kill me....

Hmmmm????

I'm a spiro user even though my blood test results were normal and I also have low blood pressure. I get spiro from a local pharmacy without a prescription. (This is possible where I live) I've been using it for 3 years and had no problems except dry skin. I understand you. My derm didn't even know what spiro was. When I saw her to get a huge mole checked, she was surprised to see me so clear and kept asking what I was using. She even asked my mom if I used Accutane.

Thanks so much for your reply. SOmetimes I feel a little unloved around here....

I am also a little concerned that it says it can effect your potassium levels. It can make them so high, you could risk stroke, etc. How do you make sure that everything is going okay internally? I am not usually all that worried about side effects, but since I am going to get it without a prescription, I am a little concerned.

Thanks again!! And I am excited to here that your face is looking so clear. Congratulations!!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif
