I suffer from moderate acne and this has worked wonders for me!
1) splash your fash with luke warm water.
2) Put a dime sized amount of Cetaphil and cleanse your face.
3) Use a Buf Puf in a circluar motion toget the cleanser off and splash face with cool water, pat dry
4) Take only a little 100% pure Aloe Vera gel and put it evenly on your face.
it took about a week and a half to really notice a difference, but it has really cleared up and it is gentle on your skin.
Hope it helps!
Yes, cetaphil can be used as a makeup remover, but it is also great for helping out with oily skin. I have pretty oily skin and when I put the aloe vera gel on my skin I can go along time without excess oil on my face and oil is the main cause of acne!
Other tips are:
Drink more water 8-10 glasses of water daily
Exercise a little a day
Meditate or something like that to cut down stress
Try to keep the foundation/concealer to minimum because they will close your pores and cause more breakouts!
Cleanse face twice daily to remove dirt, oil and bracteria.
oil really isnt the main cause of acne. i dont mean to pick a fight its just that soo many people with dry skin have acne. you need sebum ofcourse but it is certainly not the main cause. really glad for your success though. i wish you all the success in the future. it is very nice of you to share it with others.
Sorry, I meant to say it is *one* of the causes of acne.
But it is a fact that the more oily your face is the more prone you are to breakouts and blackheads.
Thanks for the reply. This means, Cetaphil can be used as a no-rinse, tissue-off make-up remover? I try to keep makeup to a mininum to, for the sake of my skin, but my job doesn't entitle me to go totally bare on the face. And the worst thing is, I work long hours, so I have the make-up on for more than 12 hrs sometimes... which is why i am looking for a good make-up remover that wld not dry out my skin, and yet remove make-up effectively.
