Hi,

I recently started using Proactiv again...so far so good, but I am noticing that the cleanser does not get all of my makeup off. When I use the toner, the cotton ends up having a ton of makeup on it. I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin, not an overly heavy makeup. I don't want to scrub too hard with the cleanser as it's a little harsh. Any suggestions?

Another question while I'm at it is did anyone have redness when they first started Proactiv? Does it go away? My skin is looking pretty smooth but it sort of looks like I have a mild sunburn...just wondering if it'll be temporary as my skin gets used to the various ingredients...

When I used ProActiv it took a while for my face to get used to it. I was slightly red in the beginning but it didn't take long for my face to begin healing. I got compliments a few weeks into use. It was great.

I would use a make up remover to remove make up first before washing. Just a suggestion.

RAG- I noticed the same thing, that my cotton ball had a lot of makeup on it (and i really only use cover up and some light powder for my t-zone, i'm not talking about full foundation makeup) so i started using clearasil face pads before i wash my face and i found that it helps. But if you have really sensitive skin don't use it because it is also an acne fighter so it will make your skin redder- which by the way, the redness should go away form proactiv soon- i reacted the same way for the first week. let me know if this helps
