Re: Can I go tanning for my prom while using Retin-A
when you're using retin-a you shouldnt go to any tanning booths, BUT as for causing cancer, it wont. UVA rays are the rays used when you tan in beds and booths--these type of rays, even though they f*ck your skin up, do not cause cancer. the sun gives off UVA and UVB rays. these UVB rays are the type that cause cancer. so if you're thinking about tanning only worry about that fact that it will destroy your skin temporarily by making it all red and irritated (since your on retin-a)--but if you continuously goto a tanning salon you might start to look like a prune over time. i wouldnt chance it--but that's just me.
