High Dose Vitamin C for collagen formation and skin texture

I started taking viatmin C in high dosages (upwards of 14 grams a day) and have really noticed a difference in my skin texture. Accutane really screwed up the texture of my skin and made it a very rough a raised hair follicle look. Vitamin C has been known to dramatically help at least 50 genetic caused disorders/diseases. Vitamin C is CRUCIAL and CAUSES collagen formation so there is no wonder on why it would help skin texture and probably even depressed scars. Vitamin C has gotten a VERY bad and FALSIFIED rap thorugh inconclusive scientific studies.
These studies were AMA propaganda, and by no means true... Linus Pauling wrote a book called "how to live longer and feel better" about the remarkable effects of vitamin C on health benefits. Vitamin C not only neutralizes free radicals within the body but can dramatically help many internal disorders through various actions. All claims on vitamin C being dangerous are inconclusive and false.
My skin texture/energy level/ and wellbeing have remarkably improved. Check Dr. Stolls BB on the post with name called "hates cover ups" (that's me) for propaganda affiliation. Also check the BB archives to hear from first hand people about the reason and why.
The most recommended type of vitamin C is Ester - C.
Conventional medicine authorities HAVE KNOWN the wonderful benefits of Vit C and it's having an ULTIMATE effect on their conventional money making therapies. They are now trying to lobby for Vitamin C to be available by prescription ONLY ... This is ridiculous what's next ban oranges ?

For better results, also try topical vitamin C. Lots of people swear by this, including me.
The benefits I've noticed are:
-faster healing of red acne scars
-improved skin texture

I use La Roche Posay's Active C

Wow, you are very informative. I have to agree with you, I have been using topical vitamin C for almost a year now and I feel it does help depressed scars, but it takes quite a long time to see results in my case.
My doctor recommended using vitamin C when having treatments such as microdermabrasion and peels done at it adds in collagen stimulation.
I noticed you mentioned Ester C, I recalled a while ago someone mentioned that they use ester C for depressed scars and it helps to plump the scars up. Are you also using Ester C?

wow, thats alot of Vitamin C your taking. If I took that much I would have the runs all day as too much vitamin C can have a laxative type effect on the bowels. (Sorry if it sounds gross)Im taking about 2000-3000mg of Ester C a day and so far its working good. Besides the benefits to my skin, it gives me more energy.

Everyone can handle a different amount of vit C.
Just because someone is taking 14 grams without
any problems yet, doesn't mean you can too. Once
vit C starts having a laxative effect on you, thats
when you know you are taking to much and you need
to lower your dosage.
