Anybody know about these pills?! They are som Chinese herbal pills that supposedly clear up acne by detoxifying your system and calmning down swollen masses and promoting blood circulation........seems like something worth trying b/c its only like $5.00
hey arturo, for $5.00 you get 60 pills, they recommend that you take 6 pills 2 times day.. 12 pills a day.. that is only enough for 5 days. check out my reply to the posting "oh I found another acne product...by Xkashylahx... I think these pills also have the same ingredients I mentioned( honeysuckle, danelion, gardenia, burdock) kjack
hi arturo, I know that some of these herbal supplements have helped alot of people but, ya know everyone is different. Some people's acne is hormonal, others could be because of toxins in blood, impurites in liver, the list goes on. for example, females(like me) who get breakout on the chin around "that time"(sorry to be so personal) it is hormonal. I have an article (hope I still have it) about what causes breakout on the different areas of your face.. It claims that breakouts around the mouth are linked to poor digestion. and explains about other areas.. I will check later to see if I can find it. Since mine is more hormonal I supplement with herpanacine( has vitamins ,herbs & amino acids) & sulfurplex (has msm,& amino's also). This program has hepled my skin alot. I know some people have seen improvements with herbal supplements, but again each case is different. I wouldn't go and spend awhole of money on anything, find something comparable to the ingredients in the chinese pills and try that first. If it doesn't work for you then at least you aren't out a bunch of cash. If you do decide to try anything herbal please read & follow instructions carefully. anything with echineca is good, this herb helps to boost your immune system to fight off viruses & infections. Hope this helps. Don't make a decision quickly, do alittle research on some of these herbs, know what they do, and if you can take them..especially with any medications/other drugs. best to all.. Good Luck Arturo kjack
even if it's only $5, save your money. i tried it 5 different times...i got them off of ebay and it is a complete waste of money. it didn't clear up my acne, nor did it make me worse either. just a waste of time and money.
hey arturo, sorry I couldn't find that article. I will keep looking . I don't really think 4 weeks on a supplement is really enough time to help, sometimes you can see results quickly, it really depends on what the supplement is working on first. example: If your blood has alot of toxins and your liver is not operating as effective as it should, most herbs that help both conditons will go to the liver first & help cleanse, repair, and remove toxic build-up from there first. then they will work on the next problem like toxins in the blood. So, it really depends on the main problem. I drink lemon water first thing it the morning, it helps to flush out toxins & impurities that accumulate in your system overnight. If your acne is hormonal I would start with vitamins E, A, zinc, herbs Burdock, & echinenca, if you think that maybe your system is overloaded with toxins, I would than try something like AKN skin supplements, it has alot of the herbs to cleanse the blood & liver. I think Stillmatic is trying them, maybe post a question to him/her to see if they are helping & how they like it. Remember that whenever your detox your system, the impurites usually come out thru the skin (sorry but true,) This means your body is releasing toxins & impurties... so drink alot of water to flush them out. I would check around and look for a different herbal supplement that is more affordable & that you don't have to take 12 pills a day. at $5.oo for only 4 days doesn't seem like a good deal. If this doesn't sound like it will help you what about B5? have you tried that? I hope this info helps. Again different supplement programs work/help different people. Sometimes unfortunately it is just a alot of trial & error to see what will benefit you. Good Luck.. kjack
yeah , I agree! I have tried different kinds of pills, herbal stuff worked for me. I also take b5. Have noticed a lot less oil in my skin. pimples aren't as frequent or as red. my friend tried the same stuff as me but, didn't help him. like u say trial & error. to each his own. I wish that one thing worked for every 1 but it doesn't. keep trying different stuff until u find one that seems to help.
[This message has been edited by d-man (edited 06-03-2002).]
