I have been using witch hazel for ages now and it has really helped to shrink the pores

i just started using witch hazel. so far haven't noticed a difference.

how often and how do you apply it?

i usually use a soaked cotton ball and rub it all over my face right before i go to sleep. not sure if this is the optimal way though.

i notice the pores on my nose fill up with junk quickly. i guess squeezing the stuff out isn't helpful to making the pores smaller. so ill stop doing that on occasion.

are there any other tactics to make pores shrink and be less noticable?

Ive been using Witch Hazel for about 4 years now. Just splash it on while in the bath or shower and rinse it off with cool water. And you'll be ok from there.

If you have pretty tolerate skin, and are not that dry, try some Polysorbate 80.

You cannot make them invisible, but you can make them smaller or appear to be smaller.

If you use witch hazel, why bother to rinse it off? It's a natural astringent.

It is physically impossible to shrink pores, it is genetic.

They just "look" larger when clogged, and all you can do is keep the clogged part to a minimum.

Oil of Olay Total Effects visable anti-aging vitamin complex-fragrance free is really great at masking large
pores. It really makes them invisible! It seems like it would be great for people who don't use makeup because it really evens out skin tone also. Total Effects is almost magic. Give it a try.

i've heard that shrinking pores is impossible since it's genetic as well, yet heard and seen of people who at least "appear" to have shrunken their pores. why are pores in certain areas larger? or do they just appear larger? you say that keeping the pores clear of stuff makes them appear smaller. how can i do that? my nose pores refil with stuff every few days. i don't get it. i keep my face really clean. but i can sqeeze stuff out of the pores really often. how can this be prevented?

i'm gonna try the oil of olay stuff. witch hazel doesnt appear to be helping.
