No not really, it well help dry them out a little, but very little, because Cysts are usually very deep under the skin, and BP does not penetrate deep enough to be effective. You should look into getting a retinoid to take in combination with some BP. Apply one in the morning and one at night.

Good Luck

if u use AHA's and BHA's in conjunction with the benz. per. the bp will be able to penetrate a little more since aha's and bha's exfoliate the skin's surface. hope that helps.

If you have mild to severe cystic acne, I suggest Accutane or Differin. BP not only doesnot work for cystic acne but it scarred my skin forever since I used 10% BP.

Nope Benzoil peroxide will not work on cystic acne. I know cause thats what I had. The cystic acne is deep under the surface of the skin and any cream , lotion or gel or wash will not do anything to stop the oil production in the sub layers of your skin. Accutane may help but be informed of its side effects before you try it. The infomercials are selling false hope and "miracle water" cures on TV
