accutane users: what moisturizing products should I be thinking about?

I've been going through this board, reading as much as I can regarding the drying effects of accutane. I'm starting it Aug 3. I am sooo not looking forward to the drying side effects! I was diagnosed back in March with severe cystic acne. It started as one purple shiny lump on my chin. And the past couple of months, my whole face is swollen, red, and I have severe cysts traumatizing my skin. I've never had acne before. I have not responded to any other treatment my doctor prescribed. Accutane is my last hope. I've also never had to use any type of moisturizer, at all. I never wear makeup. My skin used to be perfect, flawless. So if anyone has any product they fell in love with while combating dryness, I would love to hear about it! :)

For my dry lips, I would use the pink blistex lip balm. For the skin I would use my Cetaphil moisturizing cream. I also used cetaphil/cetaklenz face wash day and night since it moisturizes as it cleanses. My eyes also get dry every now and then so I keep eye drops around. I had such dry skin as a child and it's not as dry as back then. Another idea to keep in mind to avoid dryness is LOTS of watsr. I've been drinking more than 16 oz. a day and I think that's what has been helping me.

You absolutely want to stick with a very gentle mosturizer like Cetaphil...most doctors will only recommend Cetaphil for accutane usage...

I really like the brand Cerave for a moisturizer/cleanser!
