You can start seeing improvement in about 6 weeks, where you are right now. First you will notice less oil, then smaller pores, sometimes with white sebum being pressed out of them. You can use a lip balm now and start moisturizer when your skin gets dry. I don't think that will help your acne clear, but will make your skin more comfortable and look better when it starts flaking and shedding, which is normal. You are on a pretty high dose, so you should definitely see results. Sometimes the acne seems worse before it gets better, but the Accutane definitely works for bad acne. If you get too miserably dry, the Dr may cut you back to every other day as your skin improves.
