Hey there - I'm new

I have facial hair and acne only around my chin so I figured Spiro was the drug for me. I just started 50mg Spiro and may just go ahead and bump it up to 100mg, as that is what the doctor prescribed. I am having a dilemma about the drug that no one seems to be able to help with. Basically I was on it for 1 week before and quit when I developed a deep painful nodule that took 3 months to resolve. In my 12 years of acne this has never happened before. So I researched and found that Spiro is a partial androgen receptor agonist - it activates the receptor when there is not sufficient testosterone for it to compete with. Now studies have shown that normal female ranges are usually "sufficient". However, my androgen levels are low/low normal. I am wondering who out there knows what their baseline testosterone, free, DHEA...whatever else was before starting Spiro. I have come to believe that those people that have endless "initial outbreaks" have testosterone that is too low, causing Spiro to active the androgen receptor rather than block it.
