ADHD meds affecting menstral cycle ? - ADD / ADHD Message Board

Hello,
Does anyone know if ADHD meds can affect the menstral cycle, especially if they are a preteen and just "starting" ? My daughter is 12 and had her 1st cycle in August - seemed fairly normal. In September her flow was VERY heavy and since then she hasn't had one at all. She has been on the meds for a couple of years. Any help would be appreciated.

Not really sure if the meds affect her cycle, but remeber in the beginning most girls fdo not have a regular cycle, see what happens next month, and then considering discussing this with her doctor - if she still see a ped, then maybe consider taking her to a gyno.
