I just wrote my first post which stated my son was diagnosed with "disorder of vigilance" by his pediatric neurologist. You can find some on it, but not much. It is not really in addition to ADD but instead of. He also worked with an OT for vestibular dysfunction (middle ear..balance). Also auditory processing - mainly with working memory and dyscalculita (math). I feel everything stems from one main problem - whatever that may me? Like the doctors say everything is so intertwined in that part of the brain it is like a puzzle and no one really knows how to solve it all. So I just keep on trying and reading different things until I figure out what works for my son. I have figured out some, but not all! He is generally a very happy, silly, active 10 year old until he has to focus on learning then forget it!
