The Pros and Cons of Medicating ADD

Both pro and con views about medicating ADD are allowed on this site.

If you want to use meds, that is fine, but don't expect to read only posts that you would feel comfortable with. All views are welcome.

Defensiveness and personal attacks are out of place on a public forum, so please read the Board Guidelines, under "Agree to Disagree".

Re: The Pros and Cons of Medicating ADD

Since ADD is not a measureable illness, but is based on what many people consider to be normal behaviours, we allow members to discuss what they think about it.

Do not report such posts as offensive. If they bother you, ignore those posts. It is not abuse toward you, it is just opinions, like you have opinions.

Agree to disagree.

And, remember, not everything diagnosed as ADD IS ADD. This is true in every health field. Doctors are only people and can make MANY mistakes in judgement. So, your case may be different than others'...don't assume their opinions are wrong for them.

Anyway, not on this website.

Thanks,
mod1
