Red dyes

I was wondering with the red dye additive... Is it something that is noticed immediately after eating or is it just built up over time causing symptoms.

Thanks.

Re: Red dyes

When I have red dye it can be noticed immediately, as if I've just taken a bunch of drugs or something.

Re: Red dyes

I notice a change in my daughter too - scary that they are allowed to put that stuff in food/candy - we have cut out as much of it as we can - the thing it is that some cough medicines have it.
