Is Ritalin really deadly?

[url removed]

Or are those cases very very rare?

Re: Is Ritalin really deadly?

What do you mean is ritalin really deadly OR are those cases very rare?? There is NO OR about it. YES ritalin can be deadly, and yes, those cases are pretty rare.

These meds can cause awful phsychological and sometimes physical side effects, but these effects are usually not death.

Re: Is Ritalin really deadly?

Yes, stimulant medications all have very similar side effects. Some think that dexedrine is even more addictive and dangerous than ritalin.

Re: Is Ritalin really deadly?

these medications aren't deadly if you take them as prescribed. Any drug, including aspirin can have deadly side effects if there is some undetected ailment with the person taking the medication. I'm a health care professional so I know about these drugs first hand. Their very safe like all the medications out there.

Any medication can be deadly whether it's Ritalin, aspirin, blood pressure meds, etc. Someone is bound to have a reaction to any med on the market over the course of time. In some cases people have had a reaction to fillers in the pill (Capsule etc.) and not the active ingredient. Nothing is 100% safe.
