Adderall vs. Adderall XR What do you find is better? - ADD / ADHD Message Board

35 year old female.

I have been taking Adderall XR 15mg for 7 days now. I found that the first 5 days were wonderful. I was feeling very focused and got a lot done. I was extremely pleased. I did feel that in the late afternoon that my attitude got sour and I started getting in a bad mood.

I also feel like I have lost a lot of focus now going on the 8th day. The last 2 days I have not been nearly as focused. I think the dose is pretty low?? Any advise or thoughts?

I was also wondering if regular Adderall would be better since you can take it later in the day and maybe extend the length of the medication to get past the bad attitude time before bed??? Thoughts please?

your body tolerates it quickly. i take 30mg xr and 10mg of regular in the evening..and it works good. it also does make you very cranky and moody and have a headache..boy does it ever. good luck
