I am taking college classes. I've noticed that on only Concerta 18 mg a day, I can study for summer school, but that I have lost my temper

more often. I am usually pretty laid back.

My shrink wants to switch me from the concerta to wellbutrin or to imipramine because of this increased irritability and moodiness.
Concerta is not the first med for ADD that I've tried. Adderall increased my heart rate and blood pressure. Strattera seems to work for about three months and then quit working and when the dose was increased, I got very sleepy during the entire day.
Has anyone had past experience like me where the doctor suggests a switch because an ADD meds makes them moody? I understand that neither wellbutrin or imipramine have FDA indications for ADD but my shrink sez that he's had good results with these meds for ADD. I guess that I'm getting tired

of meds that work, but either quit working or have big side effects. I would sure feel better if I could hear some other people compare and contrast their experiences on wellbutrin or imipramine.
