Here's a link to a website that discusses symptoms. Because it is a ".gov" website, it is okay to post here:

You'll notice that the symptoms are rather vague and are true, to some extent, for almost everyone. It's a matter of degree. To be ADD, the symptoms must impact more than 1 area of a person's life and must have been present before age 7.
