We had our son on Metadate until we needed to increase the dosage- which at the time did not come in a 30mg dose, so the Dr. chose to put him on a 30mg dose of Ritalin LA rather than immediately jump him to 40mg of Metadate. They both have the same active ingredient- however; I am noticing that the Ritalin LA wears off quicker than the Metadate and that he does not respond as well to it.

As anyone experienced this?
