| Re: Child ADD - Help Schedules Ideas
i think it's hard for us to provide you with schedules, because we don't know what your child needs to do on any given day. i think the main thing is for you to assess what your child has going on, (school, sports, clubs other activities, etc...) and plan it out from there...i can tell you first hand it definitely helps having a set schedule, and schedule changes are hard. as a college student i'm always messed up at the beginning/end of a semester when there are drastic changes. obviously you can't have the same schedule every day, but things like bedtime routines, morning routines (those two especially for me because i have a tendency to "forget" to go to sleep, and am very slow in the morning), after school/homework routines...i've found that if they all happen around the same time of day, and have the same basic order every day, it helps a lot.
