Adderall picks me up. When it wears off, I go down. Way down. It certainly doesn't help any depression. I quit Adderall for everyday life, and use it only when I need to be "on top of my game," in an intense business setting. It's a crutch, I'm sad to say. I prefer to study meditation, avoid all alcohol and caffeine, and exercise like crazy to stimulate my brain into control.
