Ritalin LA - ADD / ADHD Message Board

Starting 10 mg Ritalin LA tomorrow, prescribed today. Previously used 20mg Adderall XR or 10 mg regular Adderall to get through days studying in Ph.D program, obtained through friends. Has anyone else had this situation? I'm wondering if the 10 mg won't work, or if they will work but I won't notice any changes (which would be ideal.) Anyone have any input on Ritalin LA? Is 10mg not going to be enough, since I've used higher doses of Adderall before, or will it be different because it's LA?

I dont take adderall but if it is anything like concerta, dosewise, I would increase it. I am on 36mg of Concerta for my ADD. I just started 3 days ago and it seems to be good but not quite strong enough. I'd like to increase it to like 50 or something. Anyway, do you know if all the medications are different with doses? Maybe 10 is like 36 mg of concerta for me. I just dont have a clue. You may want a higher doseage....but someone may know more about ritalin even though I'm taking concerta which is similar but not the same. hope it all works out!
