Good Book/CD/Tape for ADD - ADD / ADHD Message Board

Delivered from Distraction is a great book dealing with childhood and adult ADD---it's available on CD or Tape if you can't read books all the way through.

Has a list of strategies to help you deal with ADD. I've had ADD all my life---this book explains a lot of stuff----and medication isn't emphasized.

Reading this book made me feel good about ADD.

I bought the book and have been reading it. It's really great. Broken down for Add'rs in really short chapters and one excellent feature to the book; a summary chapter of the whole book for those who know they won't be able to read the entire book (me). I'll get the audio version of it for Fathers day. I asked for it

If I may add to the list ...

Just completed "Beyond Ritalin." Explains what ADD meds can and cannot do. For instance, meds can control ADD symptoms but will not undo bad habits developed before ADD control. That is now up to me.

I got two more books not read yet. Will post my review after read.
