Thanks for responding. I have found that when I see no one else responding, I also feel compelled to respond.
Actually, I have discovered that not all people are discussing kids with ADHD or meds, but I suppose since it tends to run in the families, people need to discuss their problems as well as their kids.
I am also an adult and haven't been diagnosed yet. I would like more discussion about different people's coping mechanisms in dealing with day to day issues. How do you deal with organization, making goals, dealing with negative self-talk, restoring self-esteem, dealing with regret for past mistakes.
Since I am still educating myself about ADD, I am finding that I am looking back at my life and having light bulbs go off because now I understand a bit better why I always felt something was "wrong" with me.
It's good to share this with other adults.
