anyone else on adderall and have these side effects??? - ADD / ADHD Message Board

hey ya'll, I wanted to know if anyone else experiances the following side effects while on adderall.

Ok, I take 60 mg a day. xr am and regular in afternoon. I've noticed my face at times gets all flushy like (redness) and some appears on my arms. It's not itchy or painful though.

I'll get cold hands or feet. Ussually just on my right side.

I'll also at times feel this rushing sensation in my legs, the kind of feeling when you cut off circulation by sitting on legs in a certain way, when the blood comes back in it's this feeling of rushing.

and this one is weird and hard to explain but like I'll drum my fingers if you know what I mean... I been on adderall for 3 years. Anyone else have these side effects???

I have had the same flushness in the afternoon or late evening when my dose is wearing off. it was really prevelant in the first couple of weeks and now comes and goes from time to time.

As for numbness, I haven't had any. My fingers do get chilled very easily. Make sure you get your cholesteral and blood sugar checked because those can show up with Adderall as being issues if you did not notice them before.

Oh man my hands and feet have always been cold but now they are freezing and NOTHING seems to make them warm. I am considering the battery powered heated socks.

this is strange in my opinion, and i may be wrong, but i doubt it has to do with the stimulant because wouldn't a stimulant cause energy which in turn creates warmth *gulp* i think i'm wrong here, but i myself never had any of those side effects, i love the cold and i'll walk in the rain in shorts and a t-shirt whenever it rains, i'm never cold to the extent that i complain or i get under covers to stay warm

Stimulants actually constrict veins and capillaries, and dilate arteries (think i've got it right)...at any rate, the blood vessels to your skin constrict, so you feel cold. I get the same thing. Not sure I'm saying this right, though, so someone correct me if I'm wrong. Sue
