Strattera - ADD / ADHD Message Board

My son started Strattera 22 days ago and OMG!!! what a difference i see..........MUCH better! Almost a 100% turn around. He also takes Trazadone for sleep and he wasn't sleeping well at all at nite. they say it takes about 2 months for the full affect of the Strattera to kick in, but MAJOR improvement already! I am very happy with the results so far! He is still having some trouble with remembering to turn in homework, but he has NOT had any problems at school that he did before!!

Very surprised to see the results i have already!

Excellent! I am happy for you. Straterra worked well for my son, too, especially with regards to his hyperactivity.

Perhaps you can try strategies to help him remember to turn in homework - like post-it notes, a checklist, or even writing something on his hand (kids love that!). I'm not sure how old he is, but if he's in elementary school, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask the teacher how SHE can help remind him.
