Hi, my name is jamie. I have add without hyperactivity, dx @ 5 yrs ago I'm 40 ish, I'm extremely lethargic and lack motivation seriously without my meds.
Recently I've been experimenting with amino acids, and I feel I need to share this, I take 1000 mg of l tyrosine and 1000 mg of taurine a day, and the lethargy is almost non existant! the taurine helps with motivation and it makes a BIG difference! If any of you feel these symptoms, please try this, It by no means works as well as my rx, but, at least I know there is hope if ever I cant get meds anymore.

Hmmm. Interesting.

I used to be "anti" taking isolated amino acids like that because there is nothing natural about them. Amino acids don't occur alone in nature. And there is no-one overseeing their safety.

These days, however, I'm open to alot more things. How long have you been taking them?
