ADD and cheating on b/f - ADD / ADHD Message Board

i have a boyfriend of 3 months who is perfect, he's funny,smart,hot,caring,sweet etc. i have cheated on him about 3 times. i dont feel guilty or regret it. in fact, ill probably do it again. i know your thinking "ok dumo him then!" but i dont want to because i like always having someone and knowing someone loves and cares for me. im selfish i know.i have cheated on all my boyfriends and not told them. i get easily bored with one guy and crave attention from many guys. i cant stay satisfied no matter how perfect or great my current b/f is.

i am an obsessive partier--i live for it. i LOVEEE the thrill of being out at night and getting a lot of attention and hooking up with a new guy. i like seeing if i can get "this guy" or "that guy" and when i do i feel all happy LOL

i have ADD, does anyone know if that has anything to do with it? is anyone else reading this the same way?

A lot of adults with ADD (myself included) have very high sex drives but compulsive cheating is not an ADD thing I wouldn't think. It will eventually catch up to you and if you really love this guy so much, should consider what your actions will inevitably bring about... he'll find out and you won't have him inyour life any more. Besides, it's very risky behavior in regards to STDs and pregnancy etc.

All the symptoms you've described are typical of AD/HD. Take an online AD/HD test (with honesty), then have someone who lives with you take the same test about you. Print both tests out and take the two results to a psychiatrist who specializes and is up to date on the latest AD/HD literature.
