dexdrine dosage - ADD / ADHD Message Board

Any body on Dexdrine? If so, how many do you take and what do you think is the total dosage. I feel after 6 years on it, it is losing its effectiveness. Thanks in advance.

I have been on dexidrine for six years with little variance on dose. I took 12.5mg in the morning and 10mg at lunch. Then about 18 months ago I started taking Fish Oil for the Omega fats. After about 2.5 weeks I had to reduce my dose, now I only take 2.5mg in the morning and in another month or so I will probabbly stop all together.

I've been a Dexedrine for over 6 years. I take 10 mg of Dextrostat and 10 mg Dexedrine and 150 (SR) of Welbutrin when I get up. I take another 10 mg of Dextrostat at lunch. If I have to work late or have late meetings I'll either take another Dextrostat in the afternoon or a Dexedrine at lunch. The Dexedrine is long acting.

My doctor recently asked me to try Adderall 30 mgs because then I will only have to take one pill a day.
