Straterra new ADHD Medication - ADD / ADHD Message Board

Has anyone tried this new released medication - Straterra? If so, does it work well? Thanks, Badgirl

I have read about this stuff and am anxious to discuss it with my son's Doc. It is a nonstimulant med that is supposed to be as effective as ritalin. I don't know if we'll try it or not. We just switched meds and they aren't quite what we had expected. If we change again I'll let you know. My little guy is only 6 so I am trying to find something that won't mess up his appetite too badly.

I'm ditching the adderall and am going to try Straterra when I go to my doc next, I believe it is available in pharmacies Jan.16. I'll keep everyone updated.

Yes...please keep us all posted. I am looking at putting my son on medication, we are still in the process of determining if he needs that or not. I just heard about this yesterday...thanks for the info.
