Yes, it does make sense. 5mg was too low a dose. You took 5mg just long enough for your body to adjust. If you took 10mg at the get-go the side effects would have been worse. Now that you are acclimated, 10mg is controlling your symptoms without side-effects. Tritation works.
Ask your doctor to prescribe 10mg if he/she hasn't already done so.
