Anyone on Strattera 2 months or more? - ADD / ADHD Message Board

We are considering strattera for our six year old because of increased hyperactivity while on Wellbutrin. Has anyone with young kids reached two months or more and what are your results? He is doing well in school but has impulse problems, is still very loud and rambunctious. Not regular six year old energy, he's always in overdrive.

My 7 year old son was on Strattera for two months. It didn't work for him. He lost 10 pounds, was very constipated and it did not help him with hyperactivity and concentration. We are back on Adderall XR and he has improved from day one in everything. Gained weight back, no more constipation, better in school. Strattera did not work for him. I mentioned to the doctor, if we could try Wellbutrin, and he said, if Strattera did not work, most likely Wellbutrin won't either.
