Hey ya'll! I was reading someone else post and she mentioned how someone helped her focused on her self-esteem and it helped her. There are tons of things Im not going to do with my children because i learned fomr my parents mistakes. but I beg of all the parents that read this.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT COMPARE YOUR CHILDREN! Also make sure they know they are important in you life, and remember to mention that you are proud of them every so often,.... more than usual! Unfortunately for me, Im a triplet, and my parents do foster care........ so i got compared all the time....... I still do and Im in college (and the really bad side is we all go to the same college, and thats only because it was the only college to except me because my grades were horrible in highschool!..its a raelly good college though!) <-- sorry I know it was a random though. But back to what I was saying, I also never hear my parents are proud of me. They are aware of the fact that I have ADHD, so it makes me wonder how much they really believe it in it! I cant tell how how much those little things will help a child grow confidence. I lack those things, and my confidence was down to nothing, but i went to counseling and got help. It was up there, but now im hope and out of that postive environment, im going right back down. Make sure they get postive feedback, kids need that inorder to feel like they success at something! I dont want to tell anyone how to parent their child or anything, but I just want you guys aware of how much of an impact their child has in their life. Even if the child doesnt show emotion very much ( i never did and I feel like that has something to do with it!) Once again, im sorry if i've bored ya!
