straterra and aderral - ADD / ADHD Message Board

Has anyone who is past 4 weeks on straterra still using some stim for focus. My son is on week3 and 1/2 and Isent him to school mon and tues with just straterra. HIs teacher said he had a hard time focusing Today I sent him with straterra and 10mg aderal xr His teacher just e-mailed me things are great he is able to focus very well. When will he be able to be on just straterra or are some people finding that the need a small amount of stimulant to jhelp focus?

Strattera alone did not work for my son (for the focusing), so he also takes 2 doses of Ritalin/day for school. Will try foregoing some of the Ritalin doses once school is out and see how the Strattera alone works when he doesn't need to be highly focused.
