I've read a lot of books/articles on ADD/ADHD and "Driven to Distraction" by Dr. Hallowell (I think that's it - starts with an H anyway) is by far the best in my opinion. He a doctor and psychiatrist who has ADD himself and the book is incredibly accurate and encouraging.
The hands-down best adhd book I have read is,
Right-Brained Children in a Left-Brained World by Jeffery Freed and Laurie Parsons. The reason I like this book so much is because it offers positive solutions to dealing with attention weaknesses and brings focus on the strengths of visual right-brained learners. These kids are not "disordered", only different. The "disorder" is a negative label which is damaging to a child's self-esteem. It points out that many of our worlds most innovative and brilliantly creative people would have been considered "disordered" by today's DSM-IV standards.
The "BEST" ADD/ADHD Books- in your opinion
