i just started taking 10mg amphetamine salts it workd good the first couple days but now im gettin super dry mouth, stomach pains and a sore back, i no these are common side effects but should i stop taking them because they help me out alot, i notice after the 3 hrs i get sleepy and just wanna go to bed .. im suppose to take it twice daily ..

Ultimately, whether the benefits are worth the side effects is a decision only you can make. It may be that you'll wind up only taking it some days, when you particularly need to focus.

Or, maybe you'll do well on a lower dose. Assuming you aren't on a controlled-release form, try taking half a pill and see what happens.
