Brain Fog and Head Pressure ?
Since the last week of March, I've been experiencing unusual head pressure and brain fog. Its comparable to sinus congestion minus the headache and stuffy nose. Initially, I shrugged it off as seasonal allergy symptoms and now its just irritating. I don't believe it is allergy related, because I know when I have bad allergies and this is definitely something else. Somedays, it feels like my brain is bloated and other days it feels like plain old brain fog. I've never experienced this before and I wonder if its ADHD related.
I was thinking maybe my anti-depressant is too strong? I've been taking Cymbalta 60 mg for a year now. Or maybe my body is still adjusting to coming off of Klonopin .5 mg BID about 3 months ago? I am also taking Adderall 20 mg BID for ADHD symptoms.
Now that my anxiety is in check, I no longer experience panic attacks and taking Adderall doesn't freak me out like it did in the past. Also, I don't crash from taking Adderall and I'm not sure what its like to develop a tolerance...so maybe after taking this med steadily for 3-4 years I finally developed a tolerance?
I am sort of hesitant to bring this issue up with my doctor, because I'll probably get prescribed some new medication and worse case scenario...I get hooked on some med I didn't actually need.
The head pressure isn't debilitating, but it is becoming a chronic nuisance.
