How can you seek help for someone abusing Aderrall?
My friend is experiencing severe paranoia psychosis, due to her abuse of adderall. She is prescribed the drug by a physician, but is not taking the medication as prescribed. She literally believes any person that crosses her path is going to harm her. Her constant fear and paranoia has caused her to neglect her daughter. She has become very confrontational and aggressive. Her family has become frightened of her. Legally, can I or a member of her family contact the prescribing physician to express the concerns regarding her symptoms. She really should be in the hospital in order to get her medications adjusted accordingly.

Those could be side effects of Adderall, especially at higher doses. If you know her doctor, calling the doctor's office directly might be a good way to start. If she's at risk of harming herself or someone else, the doctor must act.
Or, you could call the police, if you think it's that urgent.
