| Just diagnosed with ADD...
I saw my Dr. today and she went through the full list of questions to determine whether or not I had ADD/ADHD. She diagnosed me with just the ADD. I am 36 years old. She gave me samples of Intuniv. I was instructed to start out on 1 mg the first week, then increase to 2 mg the second week, until I eventually get to where I am taking 4 mg, however, I will have to make a follow-up appointment before that time so that I will be able to see the Dr. so she can judge how things are going and give me a prescription at that time, of course.
She put me on this particular med because I have a history of heart issues (both personally and family) and felt it would be safer than the stimulants that are out there.
What has been others experience on this medication?
