I was tested for ADHD about a year ago and scored a 98% having combined types. After arguing with my Dr for a year to prescribe me something he finally did! I brought my prescription to my pharmacy and they told me I would need a pre authorization so I called my Drs office to see if he got the fax and they pretty much hung up on me. The hospital I go to also will not allow me to change Drs. This Dr has put me through hell he is trying to treat me for an eating disorder that I don't even have not realizing that the ADHD is ruining my life. I'm in college full and I can't focus at all I'm either zoned out or distracted by anything and everything, I can't get anything organized either. As hard as I try to force myself to study or get organized it just does not work.The ADHD also affects my driving which make things worst because I drive 45 minutes to school. Is there anyway to get my vyvance without having to deal with my Dr and insurance company, because there is no possible way I can afford 150 dollars a month. I know I have to go see my Dr for the prescription but I don't want to deal with him and the paper work that he seems to not mind letting this take months to happen but I need something now I have finals in a month!
