ADHD for a 6 Year old boy
I have a 6 year old who is highly ADHD with impulse. He has been on Concerta but still have some problems focusing in school, but behavior was good. We switched to Ritalin LA attention is great, but is distance and having outburst. We are going to reduce the dosage tomorrow. Wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions of other drugs out there.

My daughter takes the long acting Focalin. She has ADHD with very bad working memory (she is now 17). She actually made honor roll the first marking period! Huge self esteem booster. Lost my insurance, so we couldn't afford the Focalin for a couple months. Of course, the grades dropped. No ill effects from Focalin, except the price. There is no generic.
