Healthy: Sometimes I feel like I am the king of odd/real/nightmare/ dreams. Dreams have been analyzed and from my understanding there are no set meanings for one or more episodes of dreams. Edited---Healthy, I must apologize...after re-reading the dreams post, I realize that my my dream prom is not the same as yours. Yours is pertaining to what relevelance to addiction if I understand. My are about being disturbed about the ultimate end.
I am only speaking from my own experience. But my fear of death has intruded most of my dreams. My Grandmother just passed away and 2 nights later I dreamed we were having a conversation at the dining table. It was so vivid. All mine are.
I am not sure I care for these dreams at all because of the unknown purposes of them. There are many who say they have no real meanings and that it is just my subconscious causing them. I am not so sure.
The next night I had a dream where I was physically patting my first cousin on the back in disbelief because he had been killed in a tragic car wreck many years ago.
In conclusion, I feel that there may be a higher being, spirit who is interrupting my dreams. There are many books about dreams and many beliefs. I happen to believe that dreams do have a significant meanings.
I could write a book on how disturbing some of the dreams I have had...But I will spare you today. Most of them are diseased friends, family, who seem to be trying to communicating with me. Does this mean I may be near my end? Who knows? It sure sends vibes my way.
Dreams can be very different and there can be many different ideas about what they mean. I have heard that dreams are important so that we work out complex subconconscience thoughts in the spiritual realm.
For some dreams are just dreams and I respect that also. May peace be with all,
